English: A large base sherd of Roman pottery. It is a samian ware pot, possibly a shallow bowl. It is likely this piece came from central Gaul. It has a fine orange fabric, with frequent fine quartz inclusions. there are a number of large elongated voids. The slip is reddish orange in colour.80.00mm D x 10.93mm T x 63.94g weight
