Description |
English: A lead alloy steelyard weight, probably dating to the Roman Period (43-410 AD). The solid cast weight is biconical with an iron protrusion at one end, which was likely a loop which has broken in antiquity. Many similar examples have been found on the PAS database; for example NMS-1815C6 and SWYOR-B85A02.
