KENT-8A2172: Ewer spout
Description
English: A later Medieval or early Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy zoomorphic spout, probably from a Ewer. The spout is tubular and terminates in a molded animals head with open mouth, which acts as the spout. At the other end the spout curves through 90 degrees before terminating in an old break. The spout is an irregular hexagonal shape in cross section.
