Title
KENT-30CF10. Copper alloy Roman votive figurine.
Description
English: A bawdy object or figurine, possibly a pipe tamper dating from the 18th or 19th century. One side of the figure displays male genetalia, the other female genetalia.

Erotic objects are fairly frequent 18th and 19th century objects and include tokens and pipe tampers as well as these single sided plaques or figurines. It is possible that they all had a function for cleaning out pipes, but being made of lead, it is perhaps more likely that they were lucky charms or amulets.
