Description
English: A base sherd of Roman pottery. This is a samian vessel with the potters mark MENIANVS. This is a fine ware vessel, with a hard orange fabric. there are frequent small inclusions. the slip is orange. This is a 2nd century bowl, with a beaded rim, produced in Central Gaul.
