Description
English: A fragment of a Medieval vessel. Th handle fragment is made of a buff coloured sandy ware. The sherd is a segment of oval sectioned handle with a series of stabbed holes in the outward face. The handle expands into a wide rim section and is probably a jug handle. The vessel dates from the later 14th to 15th century. The fragment is 96.5mm long, 57.7,, wide, 14.4mm thick and weighs 73.62 grams.
