Description
English: An Iowa Air National Guard's aging Boeing KC-135E Stratotanker (s/n 57-1447), displaying patriotic nose art, taking off. The KC-135E assigned to the 185th Air Refueling Wing, in Sioux City, Iowa (USA), was flown out by a flight crew from Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, to Davis-Monthan Air Forc Base in Tucson, Arizona, where the aircraft was retired. In the foreground is the tail of another KC-135E (s/n 57-2608), retired in September 2008.
