Description 20 Jahre Bundesrepublik 20 Jahre Sicherheit und Erfolg CDU Die Bundesrepublik hatte Geburtstag. Vor 20 Jah- ren, am 23. Mai 1949, verkündete der Präsident des Parlamentarischen Rates, Konrad Adenauer, unser Grundgesetz. ... Heute, 20 Jahre später, stehen wir vor neuen gro- ßen Aufgaben. Das Einigungswerk Europas ... duldet keinen Aufschub mehr. Die Nachfolge Adenauers und Erhards hat Kurt Georg Kiesinger angetreten. Er hat in den beiden abgelaufenen Jahren der Koalition mit einem schwierigen Partner gezeigt: - daß er das Steuer der Regierung fest in der Hand hält; - daß er die politische Einigung Europas vorantreibt; - daß er eine klare, aber illusionslose Ostpolitik verfolgt; - daß er energisch einschreitet, wenn an der Stabilität unseres Geldes gerüttelt wird. Adenauer hat einmal gesagt:" Die Christlich-De- mokratische Union muß und wird auch in Zukunft die bestimmende, die führende Kraft unseres Volkes bleiben." Bundeskanzler Kurt Georg Kiesinger erfüllt dies verpflichtende Forderung für die CDU heute und für die kommenden Jahre.
