Summary
English: One of the old spa hotels in the seaside resort of Kühlungsborn. It was built in 1905 and the main landmark of the town. In 1994, the commune decided to demolish the old building - officially because of the "bad structural condition". This move gone along with fierce protests by the inhabitants.
Today, there is a reminiscent new built hotel complex, that strongly follows the seaside-resort architecture of its historical forerunner. |
