Türkçe: Boğaziçi’nde, Küçüksu deresi ile Göksu deresi arasındaki alanda yer almaktadır. Küçüksu Kasrı’nın bulunduğu yörenin yerleşim tarihi Bizans dönemine kadar inmektedir. Osmanlı döneminde padişahın has bahçelerinden biri olan Küçüksu ve çevresini, Sultan IV. Murad’ın (1623-1640) çok sevdiği ve buraya “Gümüş Selvi” adını verdiği bilinmekte. 17. yüzyıldan başlayarak çeşitli kaynaklarda “Bağçe-i Göksu” adıyla geçen yörede özellikle 18. yüzyıldan başlayarak yoğun bir yapılaşma gözlenmektedir. Sultan 1. Mahmud (1730-1754) döneminde Divitdâr Emin Mehmed Paşa, padişah için bu Hasbahçe’nin deniz kıyısına iki katlı ahşap bir saray yaptırmış, bu yapı Sultan III. Selim (1789-1807) ve Sultan II. Mahmud (1808-1839) dönemlerinde de onarılarak kullanılmıştır. Sultan Abdülmecid, Küçüksu Kasrı’nın bulunduğu alanda ki eski ve ahşap yapıyı yıktırıp, yerine bugünkü kasrı yaptırmıştır. 1857 yılında yapımı tamamlanan Küçüksu Kasrı, yığma tekniğiyle ve kâgir olarak inşa edilmiştir. Yapı bodrum katıyla birlikte 3 kattan oluşmaktadır. Bodrum katı; kiler, mutfak ve hizmetkârlara ayrılmıştır. Diğer katlar ise bir orta mekâna açılan dört oda biçiminde düzenlenmiştir. Genellikle dinlenme ve av amaçlı olarak kullanılmıştır. Sultan Abdülaziz (1861-1876) döneminde cephe süslemeleri zenginleştirilmiştir.
