Deutsch: Das 1877 von dem Architekten Friedrich Geb errichtete Haus Klug wurde nach Beschädigungen durch die Luftangriffe auf Hannover nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in vereinfachter Form auf dem teils erhaltenen Sockelgeschoss in den Jahren 1949/50 wieder aufgebaut, möglicherweise durch die Architekten Gebrüder Siebrecht. Für ihre Geschäftsräume beauftragte der Tabakwarengroßhandel Albert Knäfel den Bildhauer Ludwig Vierthaler mit der Gestaltung eines Pfeife rauchenden Tabak-Männchens als Bauplastik oberhalb der Eingangstür ... |
