Description
Deutsch: Als die Pfalz noch zu Bayern gehörte, ließ sich König Ludwig I. in Edenkoben die Villa Ludwigshöhe als Sommer-Resistenz errichten. Alle 2 Jahre, im Sommer, ist der König mit seinem Hausstand von München nach Edenkoben umgezogen. Am König-Ludwig-Tag gibt es Umzüge in der Stadt bei denen dem König gehuldigt und auch kritisiert wird. Die Veranstaltungen gehen nicht ohne einenm guten Tropfen Wein diversen Bühnenveranstaltungen ab.
English: When the Palatinate still belonged to Bavaria, King Ludwig I had Villa Ludwigshöhe built in Edenkoben as a summer residence. Every 2 years, in summer, the king moved his household from Munich to Edenkoben. On King Ludwig's Day there are parades in the town during which homage is paid to the king and also criticised. The events do not end without a good drop of wine and various stage performances.
