Description
Deutsch: Bodenfliese aus dem Stammhaus der Kölner Familie Hackeney am Neumarkt. Derartige Arbeiten, aus gebranntem Ton mit eingeprägtem Muster und einer Glasur versehenn, wurden etwa ab dem 12. Jahrhundert für die Ausstattung von Sakralbauten gefertigt. Frühe Fliesen hielten jedoch zum Ende des 14. Jahrhunderts auch Einzug in die Häuser wohlhabender Kölner Bürger- und Patrizierfamilien.
