Description
English:
Former chapter house. Baroque house built in between 1749 and 1766. Street side facade made in between 1790 and 1825. Monument sign/plaque. In 2022 'Baranya County Museums Directorate Janus Pannonius Museum' Office building not exhibition building. Modern sculptures (mostly abstract) in its garden - 5 Káptalan Street, Belváros (Inner City) neighborhood, Pécs, Baranya County, Hungary.
Magyar:
Utca felőli bejárat. 'Kanonoki ház; lakóház és múzeum' néven műemléki védelem azonosító: 1725, törzsszám: 70. Talán középkori eredetű, barokk, 1749-1766. Utcai homlokzata 1790-1825 között alakult ki. Megj. a leírás az utcafronti épületről szól a telken tübb épület is található! Műemléktáblája szerint épült XVIII, század közepén. 2022-ben 'Baranya Megyei Múzeumok Igazgatósága Janus Pannonius Múzeum' (tábla szerint). Parkjában: Pénelopé (Bencsik István), Ölelkezés (1965, Bocz Gyula), Nőalak (Felállítás 1991, Schaár Erzsébet), Hullám (Felállítás 1960, Barta Lajos), Hangyák emlékműve (Avatás 1982, Martyn Ferenc) szobrok - Baranya megye, Pécs, Belváros, Káptalan utca 5., helyrajzi szám:18357, 18358, 18359/1, 18359/2
