eful. In Lazarus who lived from thecrumbs that fell from the rich manstable there must have been a very con-siderable measure of success, other-wise he would not have found himselfin the bosom of Abraham. We need a solemn warning against the false notions springing up amongstus concerning success. Genuine, last-ing and eternal success is not born ofselfishness, egotism and flabby ambi-tions of the present age. Help other people grow, and youwill be amazed and delighted to seehow much larger and more robustyou have yourself become. Everytime you lead a wanderer along theGodward path, your own feet becomemore familiar with the way andstronger to walk therein. Every timeyour arm steadies a stumbling one orlifts the fallen, it becomes more sin-ewy for the bearing of its own burdensand for warding off the attacks of evil.Only idle hands and heads and heartsare dwarfed and weak.—Landrith. The sun does not shine upon thisfair earth to meet frowning eyes, de-pend upon it.—Charles Dickens.
