Description

Am 10. Mai 1933 ließen die Nationalsozialisten die Werke "undeutscher" Autoren in einer öffentlichen Großveranstaltung verbrennen.

Die Geschichte wird von rechten Parteien jetzt neu erfunden. Dabei spielen historische Fakten immer weniger eine Rolle. Das ist ein gefährlicher Trend. Wer nicht will, dass sich Geschichte wiederholt, der muss die Gegenwart verändern.

Wir wollen mit Ihnen gemeinsam ein Zeichen gegen Geschichtsfälschung setzen. Wir wollen an Schriftstellerinnen und Schriftsteller erinnern, deren Bücher am 10. Mai 1933 in 22 deutschen Universitätsstädten – beginnend auf dem heutigen Bebelplatz in Berlin – öffentlich verbrannt wurden. Das wollen wir nicht vergessen.
