Deutsch: Abb. aus Illustrirte Zeitung Nr. 2813 vom 27. Mai 1897, S. 676 Der neue Dom in Berlin nach seiner Vollendung. Nach dem Entwurf des Geh. Regierungsraths Prof. J. C. Raschdorff gezeichnet von Georg Junghändel Vgl. ebd. S. 677: Unsere Abbildung, die eine vom Architekten Georg Junghändel in trefflicher Weise gezeichnete Perspective des Entwurfs gibt, zeigt die Lage des gewaltigen Bauwerks unter den umgebenden Bauten. Wir sehen diesseits des Spreearms auf den Schinkelplatz, vor uns Schlossfreiheit und Lustgarten,mit dem Denkmal Friedrich Wilhelm III. geschmückt, dahinter erhebt sich der Dom mit seiner prächtigen Kuppel und den vier Ecktürmen. Zwischen dem Dom und dem rechtsliegenden Residenzschloss führt im Hintergrund des Bildes die neue Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke in die prunkvolle Straße gleichen Namens hinein. Links vom Dom liegt das Schinkel'sche Alte Museum.
