English: Junction 10 of the M11 and the Imperial War Museum, Duxford The junction stands virtually in the middle of this square, which is particularly easy to marry up with the aerial view. The extreme left- and right-hand edges of the square are not in the picture.
The large hangar on the roundabout is one of the buildings of the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, whose grounds and buildings continue off the picture to the left. The proximity of the airstrip to the M11 sometimes causes problems, such as here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cambridgeshire/3056285.stm With thanks to Katy Appleton for much of the content of this description. |
