English: Paratroopers rehearse for an airborne operation at the "mock doors," a training aid similar to aircraft used for parachute operations. The 16th Military Police Brigade, Fort Bragg, N.C., conducts the second annual canned food drive jump to benefit 2nd Harvest Food Bank, Fayetteville, N.C., Nov. 18, 2013, here. The German airborne operation allows U. S. soldiers to earn German wings. German Sgt. Maj. Ronny Hahnlein of Coburg, Bavaria, Germany, serving as German liason to XVIII Airborne Corps, here. Hahnlein also serves as jumpmaster for the foreign wing jump for U.S. Soldiers. For many soldiers this was jump number six to eight, with the first five jumps being at the U.S. Army Airborne School, Fort Benning, Ga. Soldiers rehearse the jump commands at the 'mock door,' a airframe sized training aid, prior to the airborne operation. The 16th MP Brigade donates 1,244 pounds of canned and dry food to 2nd Harvest Food Bank, Fayetteville, N.C., Nov. 19, following a three-week food drive. (U. S. Army photo by Sgt. Barry St. Clair)
