Description

Julella fallaciosa (Arnold) R.C. Harris, 1987   (not lichenized)

Photograph of a J. fallaciosa spore taken through a compound microscope, x1000.   Spore measures 15 x 9 microns.

Julella fallaciosa was growing on bark at the base of a large Liriodendron tulipifera L. (Tulip tree) on Liberty Reservoir property (about l mile from the parking area on Ivy Mill Road) in Baltimore County, Maryland, USA.
