Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Version of the reform boarding school Schule am Meer's logo on the East Frisian island Juist in the Free State of Prussia. "Education by the sea" was the motto of the school's founder Martin Luserke (1880–1968). He wanted to provide an education which was based on real life experiences. A close contact with nature, sports, gardening and artisanry this way was program. The logo indicates activity and a steady change. There had been an other version of this logo which indicated a frame caused by a seal on molten wax. Another version left out the school's name which here is neither centred nor left-aligned or right-aligned.
