English: Jug; presentation jug; hotwater jug; silver; baluster shaped; fluted flaring lip; hinged lid on opening with small roman helmet at centre; short neck; short rounded shoulders; short stem; flared base; tall handle that extend over the rim of the jug; two bone inlays in handle; incised details on exterior; a boarder of leaves on shoulders; body of trophy has incised images of a procession of people with instruments and an angel; engraved text inside wreath reads- PRESENTED- TO- GEORGE M D RORKE ESQ- MGA AND MPC- FROM HIS ONEHUNGA CONSTITUENTS- AS A MARK OF THEIR- ESTEEM- 4TH NOVEMBER 1874
