Medal. Commemorative medal for the Jubilee of Queen Victoria (1837-1901), with copper alloy suspension loop in a drilled hole at top.

Obverse description: Bust veiled left.

Obverse inscription: VICTORIA JUBILEE

Reverse description: Text spread over twelve lines, as follows:

BORN 1819/CROWNED 1838/MARRIED 1840/JUBILEE YEAR 1877/under her wise & ?benevolent rule/SCIENCE ART AND LIBERTY/HAVE RAPIDLY ADVANCED/HER EXAMPLE HAS ALWAYS/BLESSED THE PEOPLE/OVER WHOM FOR/FIFTY YEARS/she has prosperously/REIGNED
