Description
Deutsch: Junkers 86 E-1/E-2 mit BMW 132 F/N Sternmotoren (u. provisorisch geschlossener Bugkanzel des vormaligen Bombers Ju 86 A/D); Flugzeug der Blindflugausbildungsschule BFS 34, 1944 in Schwerin-Görries stationiert mit Kennzeichen NG + WY und einem gelben Blindflugstreifen, sowie einem Emblem/Staffelabzeichen der Blinden Kuh mit dem Symbol der Ostmarkkarte.

Hinweis: Lt. Karl Ries Deutsche Flugzeugführerschulen und ihre Maschinen 1919-1945, Motorbuch Verlag Stgt. 1988, ISBN 3-613-01227-8 führten weitere 5 Blindflugschulen das Blinde Kuh-Emblem als Verbands- bzw. Staffelabzeichen auf den Schulmaschinen, jedoch mit unterschiedlichen Landkartensymbolen und Ausführungen:

  • Blindflugschule 3, ab 15. Okt. 1943 B 33 in Prag-Rusin.
  • Blindflugschule 5, ab Aug. 1941 Spezialausbildung für Nachtjagdbesatzungen in Belgrad-Semlin; ab 15. Okt. 1943 B 35; ab Dez. 1943 in Hagenow/Mecklenburg.
  • Blindflugschule 6 (neu), ab So. 1941 in Wesendorf b. Celle, Spezialausbildung für Fernkampfbesatzungen ab Ende 1942; ab 15. Okt. 1943 B 36.
  • Blindflugschule 7, ab Sommer 1941 in Radom in Polen, Schwerpunktschulungen für Kampffliegerbesatzungen; ab 15. Okt. 1943 B 37 Radom; ab Juli 1944 in Braunschweig-Waggum.
  • Blindflugschule 8 (neu), in Stargard (Westpommern) Spezialausbildung für Transportflieger; ab 15. Okt. 1943 B 38 und Verlegung nach Seerappen/Ostpr., danach Rückverlegung nach Gabbert/Pommern und im Dez. 1944 Langensalza/Thüringen.
  • Zur Blindflugschule 4 (Siehe Foto von K. Gerner} hat Karl Ries 1988, S. oben, vermerkt: Aufstellung im Dez. 1940 in Wien-Aspern. Verlegt im April 1941 nach Kopenhagen-Kastrup und bildet vornehmlich Transportflugzeugführer aus. Seit 15. Okt. 1943 unter B 34 geführt; Ausbildungsflüge bis Oktober 1944.
