Description

CASA C352L (Junkers Ju-52/3M) G-BFHG of resident firm Aces High leads two Pilatus P2s. In 1988 it was repainted white as a Luftwaffe rescue aircraft for the TV series "Piece of Cake". In the foreground with the yellow nose is Pilatus P2-05 G-BJAX (originally U-108 with the Swiss Air Force) flown by John Watts. It ceased flying in 1994 and went to Meier Motors of Eschbach, Germany in 2013 for possible restoration. In the background is Pilatus P2-06 'U-142' / G-BONE of Aeromech Ltd. It was acquired by Planes of Fame, Chino, California in 2005 and became N5241M. By 2011 it was airworthy in Georgetown, Texas as NX5241M.
