entirely disappeared by April 25. 1908. the eruption beganpractically in the samemanner, followed the samedistribution and order, andlasted until June 15. 1908. The third attack appear-ed on July 15, 1908. fol-lowing the mode of previ-ous ones. Examination — The pa-tient was a boy of ordinarysize and appearance for hisage. Over the entire faceand forehead, with Labialborders free, were sharplymarginated lesions withred borders, greasy-gray incolor, with numerous stri-atums ; on the backs of thehands and the wrists werelesions of the same char-acter with exaggerated fur-rows, and inky-black incolor; the palms were en-tirely free. Small patches* were situated on each el-bow and on each knee;three were found along thespinal column, one in thegluteal cleft, and one oneach foot back of the bigtoe.
