RUSSELL CARMAX, Roches-ter, Minn., (closing his part of thediscussion): Before answering Dr.Tylers question, I would like to askhim if he was sure these were notpleural cases rather than mediastinal. Page Twelve He said this type could occur but itwas very infrequent. Last TuesdayI visited Bellevue Hospital in XewYork and called on Dr. Symmers andwent over the question with him. Heagreed that it was very rare to seethis type in malignant metastasis. Inour series of 267 proven cases therewas no single case that showed thisinfiltration. Quantities,which it seems to me, it is mostdesirable to keep distinct.
