D., Denver, Colorado. Master A. R. Sex: Male. Age : 10. Present Condition: Had arm fractured one year ago inauto accident as shown in the accompanying x-ray made atthe County Hospital, Denver, Colorado, and was so treated.Now has wrist drop and some atrophy of the muscles offorearm, especially those supplied by musculospiral nerve. Roentgen Findings: Now shows an old fracture of hu-merus at junction of middle and lower third. No largecallous. Slight thickening of bone. Thickening about nu-trient foramen. Operative Findings: Musculospinal nerve caught in themiddle of callous, completely cutting nerve in two, andforming canal which was mistaken for nutrient foramen.Nerve attempting to regenerate. Unable to find the distalend. Subsequent History: Wrist drop has not improved. 104 CASE REPORTS 105
