A New Pseudoscorpion from California NATHAN BANKS Professor Hilton recently sent me a pseudoscorpion taken on thebeach near water, which proves to belong to the genus Atemnits.Our common Florida Ateinnus also occurs on the sea beach. bristles; mandibles not one-third the length of the cephalothorax,with a short stylet; abdomen elongate, cylindrical, the segmentswith apical and preapical rows of simple bristles; legs rather large,with many simple bristles, all showing trochantins.
