Description
English: Joseph-Marie–Auguste Caillaux (French pronunciation: [ʒɔzɛf kajo]; 30 March 1863 Le Mans – 22 November 1944 Mamers) was a French politician of the Third Republic.

The Sunday Oregonian, April 08, 1917, SECTION FIVE, Image 65 used a cropped version of this photo with the caption:

"The recent change of Cabinet in France is attributed In some quarters to the evil influence of Joseph Caillaux, that former Cabinet member who practically was exiled at the beginning of the war. He is stirring up strife in official quarters in Paris for the purpose of being returned to power."
