Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The festival is held during the first weekend of May (Friday to Sunday) at Yongdusan Park and around Gwangbok-ro, and commemorates cultural exchanges between Korea and Japan. The festival reenacts a parade of Korean missions sent to Japan over 12 times from 1607 to 1811. The festival also features various events, including a peace procession and symposiums. The records of the Joseon Tongsinsa have been enlisted onto the UNESCO Memory of the World Register (2017.10.30.).
