Čeština: Ing. Josef Friedl (1907 - 1945) řídil za protektorátu činnost ilegální odbojové organizace PVVZ ve východních Čechách a současně vedl rozsáhlou zpravodajskou agendu. Na podzim roku 1941 se stal jednou z mnoha obětí konfidenta Antonína Nerada. Ing. Josef Friedl byl zatčen v sobotu 18. října 1941 v Laichterově nakladatelství, až do roku 1944 byl pak vězněn na různých místech. Nakonec jej odsoudili 27. října 1944 k trestu smrti. Byl popraven 8. února 1945.
English: Ing. Josef Friedl (1907 - 1945) under the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia was in the headquarter of the illegal resistance organization PVVZ in Eastern Bohemia and also led extensive intelligence agenda. In the autumn of 1941 he became one of many victims of informer Antonín Nerad. Ing. Josef Friedl was arrested on Saturday, October 18, 1941 in Laichter - publishing. Until 1944 he was then imprisoned in various places. Finally, he was sentenced to death (the 27 October 1944). He was executed on 8 February 1945. |
