Čeština: Plukovník Josef Churavý (* 1894 – † 1942) (brigádní generál in memoriam). Příslušník československých legií v Rusku. Za protektorátu byl jednou z nejvýznamnějších postav II. odboje, kde působli jako čelný představitel ilegální vojenské odboové organizace "Obrana národa". Spolupracovník zpravodajsko - sabotážní skupiny "Tři králové" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek). Josef Churavý jako podplukovník generálního štábu (V hodnosti podplukovníka generálního štábu byl od 26. března 1931 do 1. ledna 1937.), foto z rozmezí let 1931 až 1936. Snímek neznámého fotografa pochází z atelieru Langhans a byl nalezený v pozůstalosti po synech Josefa Churavého. English: Colonel Josef Churavý (* 1894 – † 1942) (Brigadier General in memoriam). A member of the Czechoslovak legions in Russia. In time of the protectorate was one of the most important persons of anti-nazi resistance. He worked as the leading representative of the illegal military organization "Defence of the Nation". Coworker of the intelligence - sabotage group named "Three Kings" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek). Josef Churavý in the rank of the Lieutenant Colonel of the General Staff (in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel of the General Staff he was from March 26, 1931 to January 1, 1937), photo from between the years 1931 - 1936. Author of this photo is unknown person, but it was made in Jan Langhans photo-studio in Prague. The photo was found in the estate of the sons of Josef Churavý. |
