Description
English: Jorma Gallen-Kallela ja ensimmäinen hänen ampumansa gaselli safarilla Nairobin lähellä.


Taiteilija Akseli Gallen-Kallelan perhe eli vuosina 1909-10 Brittiläisessä Itä-Afrikassa, nykyisessä Keniassa. Jorma ja hänen isänsä kävivät usein safareilla metsästämässä, apunaan paikallista väestöä. Useiden eläinten nahat ja sarvet otettiin talteen ja lahjoitettiin myöhemmin Helsingin yliopistolle.
