Description
English: The Shrine is dedicated to the perpetuation of memorial services for the deceased kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. It was established in the 14th century by King Taejon the founder of Jeoson Dynasty, and then it was completely destroyed and burned by the Japan invasion, however the original tablets were preserved and hidden by the commoners then it was rebuilt in 1608 and kept preserved until today. It was included in the list world heritage by UNESCO In 1995.
