Mathis III, commander, Joint Task Force Civil Support, presents a commander’s coin to U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Mara Acevedo, Full Spectrum band member, during his visit to Joint Base Langley-Eustis here Feb. 26, 2014. Full Spectrum is part of the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America band and Mathis presented commander coins to show his appreciation to the band for providing the musical entertainment at last month’s JTF-CS Burns Night Dining Out, but more specifically, Acevedo, for singing the national anthem. JTF-CS anticipates, plans and prepares for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense Support of Civil Authorities (CBRN-DSCA) response operations.
