Nederlands: Luchtverdedigingsdelegaties uit zo’n tien landen streken begin maart neer op de thuisbasis van het Defensie Grondgebonden Luchtverdedigingscommando (DGLC) in Vredepeel. Sommige fysiek, andere alleen via datalinks, maar allemaal om deel te nemen aan de oefening Joint Project Optic Windmill (JPOW). Een kwart eeuw geleden vond daarvan de eerste editie plaats. Exercise Director, ofwel Leider der oefening (LDO) kolonel Jan Blom legt in de antwoorden op vijf vragen het belang van de oefening uit. |
