English: U.S. Army 1st Lt. Carl Hill, assigned to 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, provides first aid to a realistic medical training mannequin at the Medical Simulation Training Center on Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, during the Joint Multinational Training Center Best Officer Competition, May 8, 2013.The four-day competition challenges soldiers and noncommissioned officers - all of who have previously competed to be named the best in their units, to prove their skills in military knowledge, leadership, and endurance - in the warrior tasks and drills critical to success and survival on the modern battlefield. The winners will go on to compete in the Europe-wide U.S. Army Europe's (USAREUR) Best Warrior Competition beginning August 2013. USAREUR'S winning pair will go on to compete for honors at the Department of the Army level. (U.S. Army Photo by Visual Information Specialist Gertrud Zach/released) |
