Description
English: Joint Hole in flood 1990 Joint Hole is a primary flood overflow entrance into the flooded caves of Chapel-le-Dale. The Chapel-le-Dale beck is normally dry. In times of high flow the beck begins to flow and Joint Hole resurges into the river. The figure in this picture is standing directly over and some 5m above the normal water level in Joint Hole.
