Named in recognition of a generous gift from Ashley L. Johnson '89

Ashley embraced the chapel initiative and the opportunity to support a sanctuary to
nurture students' hearts and spirits. Inspired by the Cadden family and Sam Cadden's
legacy, she and her family wanted to support this important project that would enhance
the Clemson University campus and the lives of Clemson students with a dedicated space
for reflection and celebration of our individual and shared past, present and future.

"Come and rest, reflect, laugh, or cry. Come pray, celebrate, or meditate, make memories or
remember loved ones. May you find grace, peace, and forgiveness. May you find hope in
yourself and in all who gather with you today or gather with you in memory.
