Description
English: John T. Hill, his brother, Clifford M. Hill, and their mother lived with Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Kern of 1949 Chelsea Road. Mrs. Kern was the sister of Clifford and John. Mr. Hill was a corporal in the United States Army with Battery B of the 136th Field Artillery stationed at Camp Sheridan. His unit served in France during the war. In the February 1919 issue of the Norwester magazine, John Hill describes the fighting his unit saw at the end of the war about 10 miles east of Thiancourt, France.
