Howard came aboard to tour the ship, to speak with Sailors about the importance of the U.S. and Australian alliance and encourage Sailors to enjoy their time in Sydney. Kitty Hawk pulled into Sydney for a scheduled port visit following exercise Talisman Saber, a joint exercise involving more than 20,000 U.S. and 12,000 Australian troops.
