English: A portion of a newspaper ad appearing in The Seattle Star, where veterans of the Spanish–American War promote the candidacy of one of their own for the Republican nomination for Washington's 1st congressional district in the 1916 election. The ad as a whole ran the entire vertical length of the page. The archive site's clip tool is rather clunky, so I clipped just this portion. |
