Description

"Marine Congressional Medal of Honor Hero Platoon Sergeant John Basilone, USMC, recently visited the Marine Headquarters at Washington, DC. Pl. Sgt. Basilone's home is Raritan, NJ. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for "extraordinary heroism and conspicuous gallantry in action above and beyond the call of duty."" Orehovic captioned the photograph "My Hero."
