Object history Wohl aus Heusingers Nachlass über seinen Testamentsvollstrecker Staatsrat Friedrich Schulz in die Familie Schulz-Hausmann gekommen.
Inscriptions Bezeichnet unten links "JH. 1808. f."
Notes Auf der Rückseite in alter Schrift: "Sophie Henriette Heusinger 31. Dezember 1784" und in einer Schrift des 20. Jahrhunderts "Sophie Heusinger starb als Kind". Tatsächlich wurde sie aber fast 34 Jahre alt, heiratete den Pastor von St. Martini in Braunschweig Karl Ludwig Ferdinand Sallentien, der 1834 mit der Würde des Abts des Klosters Marienthal geehrt wurde. Sophia Henriette Heusinger war das 2. Kind von Anna und Konrad Heusinger, eine Nichte Johann Heusingers.

Description Kniestück nach links, neben ihrem Tafelklavier mit aufgeschlagenen Noten (Mozarts "Das Traumbild"[1] von 1787, Köchelverzeichnis 530, Text von Ludwig Hölty) auf einem Stuhl sitzend. Im Hintergrund an der Wand ein ovales Bild mit ländlichen Häusern und Fichten, rechts ein zurückgezogener Vorhang.
