Čeština: Johann Franz Vogel (* 1737, Mistrovice – 11. března 1815, Kamenický Šenov) byl řádný německý občan a obchodník se sklem, který provozoval až do roku 1770 v Mistrovicích (Meistersdorf) obchod se sklem a v roce 1770 přenesl svoje obchodní působení do Kamenického Šenova, protože zde bylo více pracovních sil a lepší možnosti zásobování. V Kamenickém Šenově a jeho okolí dával práci více než 160 lidem. (Obrat jeho prosperující firmy činil 200 tisíc zlatých za rok.) Obchodně se Franzi Vogelovi velice dařilo, byl za svého života čtyřikrát ženatý a měl se svými ženami celkem jedenáct dětí. Autorem jeho portrétu je jeho bratr Anton Ignaz Vogel.
English: Johann Franz Vogel (* 1737, Mistrovice - 11 March 1815, Kamenický Šenov) was a German citizen and glass merchant who operated a glass shop in Mistrovice (Meistersdorf) until 1770 and in 1770 transferred his business activities to Kamenický Šenov because there was more labour and better supply possibilities. In Kamenický Šenov and its surroundings, he gave work to more than 160 people. (The turnover of his thriving company was 200,000 guilders per year.) Franz Vogel was very successful in business, he was married four times during his lifetime and had a total of eleven children with his wives. The author of his portrait is his brother Anton Ignaz Vogel.
