Français : C'est avec le chant populaire Dis, Jeannette que les petits Savoyards faisaient danser deux marionnettes représentant Jeannette et sa mère. Un fil de fer, lié à deux tiges fixées sur une planchette, supportait les deux poupées, attachées au genou de l'enfant par un autre fil, auquel il imprimait des secousses qui faisaient faire aux poupées les cabrioles les plus amusantes. Parfois l'enfant s'accompagnait avec la vielle, en jouant le chant à l'unisson de sa voix.[1]
