DescriptionJoh. Georg Strasser's Flötenuhr.jpg | Great mechanical organ with clock by Johann Georg Strasser (1801). It could perform 13 pieces (11 by Mozart, - including the Fantasy for a musical clock (K.V. 608), 1 by Jos. Haydn and 1 by A.Eberl). The instrument was bought by the Emperor Alexander I and placed in Hermitage in 1805. Later the 14-th piece (Wagner's Overture to "Tannhäuser") was added by Strasser's grandson Alexander. | ||
