Schematic illustration of the spatial relationships of the coxa-trochanter muscles (M:cx-tr) in the leg coxae of Galeodes granti. Color coding of the muscles designates serial homologs. Below the coxae the numbers of each muscle are listed with regard to the color coding and matched in line with the supposed serial homologs. The distal attachment sites (DiA) are located at the proximal trochanter (not shown, see 3D-content in Figure 2)
