Description
English: Barangay Ascomo, Guagua, Pampanga - (the Barangay's name is derived from an American Camp, Armed Service Command O - ASCOMO was a component of the Sixth Army with HQ in Manila during 1945 following the Liberation of the Philipines ASCOMO means Army Service Command O, or Army Service Command "Olympic" assigned the task of planning "Operation Olympic", phase 1 of "Operation Downfall" -- the forced invasion and occupation of Japan).
